Malin Westermann (1996) is a photographic artist currently living and working in Oslo, Norway. She is particularly involved in the relationship between mother and child, family and community and examines societal perceptions and constructions that are often similar with her own experience. Intrigued by the quiet magnificence, fragility and fleeting nature of everyday life - and even moreso since birthing her first child – Westermann approaches her practice with a deep sensitivity for all stages of life, but puts her attention to motherhood.
