Esra Røise (1981) is a Norwegian illustrator and artist whose work blends fashion-inflected aesthetics with the spontaneity of snapshot photography. Working from Oslo, she draws inspiration from everyday moments, the feminine form, nature and the subtle awkwardness of real life. Her illustrations balance melancholy, sensuality and playfulness, often shaped by impulsive cropping and expressive linework. Rooted in both commercial and personal practice, Røise’s work invites viewers into intimate, unpolished scenes where emotion and curiosity take the lead.
