Kristine Moen - Birds of Paradise

Kristine Moen is a graphic designer based in Oslo. Her artwork is based on various signals, such as sound. The pieces are colorful and abstract visualizations of something invisible. 

Birds of Paradise: Inspired by the bird "Wilson's bird-of-paradise". The art print was created using spectrograms of the bird song.  A spectrogram is a visual representation of the strength or volume of a signal or a sound. It allows you to see the level of energy and how the energy varies over time.
