Rasmus Stride is a multimedia and crypto artist born in Denmark, living in Oslo.
“Solstice Bluestone” is a spiritual work commenting on the return of ecological values. It is an homage to the ancient stone sculptures of early civilizations and their mythical power that is more in line with modern environmental politics than we might think.
Monuments like Stonehenge are often ascribed magical and mythological powers. This piece is a manifestation of my fascination with Neo-druidism, a spiritual minority who perform pagan rituals in order to stay in harmony with nature. As an ecological work, it seeks to put nature's symbols of ancient magic on display.
